Cal Williams Jr Guitar School
Cal Williams Jr first studied classical guitar under renowned Adelaide university music lecturer, Anthony Pak-Poy, and continued his guitar studies at the Leeds College of Music, U.K.
Whilst based in the U.K., Cal also received personal slide tutelage from blues legend and ‘Notting Hillbillies’ (Mark Knopfler/Brendan Kroker) guitarist Steve Phillips.
Cal Williams Jr has written and published 10 teaching books for his ‘Toolbox’ series encompassing such titles as ‘The Singer Songwriters Toolbox’, ‘The Open Tuning Toolbox’, ‘The Blues and Rock Scale Toolbox’ and ‘The Guitar Toolbox Book 1’.
Cal Williams Jr has been teaching the guitar in Australia and Europe for 10 years and in that time he has developed the most practical and effective guitar tuition method available. By a common sense approach to music theory combined with useful techniques for successful jamming, performing and creating music, Cal has helped hundreds of beginner guitarists to realise their dreams.
